$11 Million Tender of Potable Water System

In Panama, a tender for the construction of a new drinking water supply and storage system for the Panama Pacific area has once again been published.

The Agency of the Special Economic Area of Panama Pacifico has once again advertised the contest on the Panamacompra website, and according to the details in the tender documents, the deadline for receipt of offers will be August 14, and the reference value is $11,212.420.

The documents indicate that “The work includes all materials, excavation, filling material, trench reinforcement, trench lining, trench water removal, pipe bed, pipe installation, valves and fittings, interconnections, boxes and covers for valves, special supports, concrete for supports, protection and wedges, lubricants for joints, removal of excess excavation, excavation of hard material, earthworks, supply and construction of a steel-fused glass tank, construction of the access road, construction of the perimeter fences, removal and construction of instrumentation booths, construction of pile driving, gabions, cleaning and provision all tools, labor, equipment or materials, and any other work shown in the plans.  

The Contractor must prepare a site plan indicating the proposed location and dimensions of any area that it wishes to enclose and use, the site facilities to be used, the entrance and exit roads to the fenced area and the fence installation details.
