class=\"description\">The Ministry of Housing and Land Management has  made ??changes to the zoning of the area adjoining via Cincuentenario,  between Calle 50 and Calle Republica de la India, changing its  classification to RM3-C2,  which allows the <span class=\"hlink\">construction<\/span> of high-rise residential and office <span class=\"hlink\">buildings<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yasmina Pimentel Miviot, head of the MIVIOT, justified the decision by  pointing out in Resolution 471-2013 that the change is being made in  order to &#8220;harness the potential and the trend present in the sector&#8221;as  well as seeking &#8220;to curb population growth in the periphery of the  metropolitan area. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The aim is to create a balance between housing and employment sources  in order to provide greater opportunities to live within the sector,&#8221;  indicates as the reasons for the decision.<\/p>\n<p
