The Multilateral Investment Guarantee  Agency (MIGA), the institution of the World Bank Group&#8217;s which issues  insurance policies for political risk, today announced its support for  an agribusiness project in Nicaragua. The project&#8217;s impact on the local  economy is already evident, for example, in terms of employment  generation, land improvement and upgrading of skills of workers.<\/p>\n<p>The investment guarantees, for U.S. $27 million, insures a capital investment made in Nicaragua by EcoPlanet Bamboo Group (EPB), a company based in the United States, for a period of 15  years against risks of
