I was reading some of the suggestions people make on how to live a better life and this one stuck out.\u00a0 Written by Simy Mir who\u00a0 is a Computer Science graduate. He writes about new technology trends and comments on issues in Pakistan.\u00a0 Very interesting perspective and one I would like to share with you.<\/p>\n

There are a few days remaining in the start\u00a02013.<\/strong> And it\u2019s a great time to plan ahead about what you want to do and achieve in the coming year. It may seem difficult to plan a whole year ahead of time, but quite frankly it is not that difficult of a task. The moment you take a pen in your hand and put a paper in front of you, before you know it, ideas will start flowing in your mind on to the paper. Start brainstorming at first. Then, make a journal what, when, why, how you will achieve it. Moreover, where you want to see yourself at the end of 2013? Planning ahead of time will give you a huge edge in life; you just have to act upon the plan you made.<\/p>\n

  1. Make small goals:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Start making small goals first, making one big goal and not achieving it at the end of the year is not a wise thing to do. If you are planning to achieve\u00a0something, break it\u00a0into\u00a0small goals.<\/em> The advantage of making small goals is that you won\u2019t feel burdened and you will achieve it easily and on time.<\/p>\n

    1. Make a 12 week fitness plan:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Being healthy and fit is one of the best blessings you can have in life. Concentrating on your health should always be your first priority. If you can\u2019t give time to your health and fitness everyday of a year,\u00a0make a 12 week fitness plan for yourself. Go straight for 12 weeks, plan or divided the basic plan into (4-4-4) week or (3-3-3-3) weeks or (2-2-2-2-2-2) <\/em>whatever suits you. It\u2019s really necessary for a person to think and worry about his\/her own health all the time, as it rightly said \u201cHealth is Wealth\u201d.<\/p>\n

      1. Personal goals about your job:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Personal goals about the job you are doing are really important in life. Setting a job goal well ahead of time will make things easier. Chalk your future job and goals to be achieved in the year <\/em>and be at ease so that you can fix your whole attention to your work and worry less about getting that promotion you\u2019ve wanted for the longest.<\/p>\n

        1. Read 12 books in a Year:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Reading is really good for your mind. Make a target of reading\u00a012 books in 12 months<\/em>. With reading books on a daily or weekly basis, you will get knowledge about new words, meanings and situations that will help you in daily life routine.<\/p>\n

          \u201cA room without books is like a body without a soul.\u201d Marcus Tullius Cicero<\/strong><\/p>\n

          1. Learn something new:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Learning never stops. Try to learn something new in the coming year whether it\u2019s a cooking recipe that you don\u2019t know, a sports you never played, any artistic work, etc. Anything that you didn\u2019t know, try to know it this year.\u00a0Experiment and surprise yourself with new things.<\/em> For starters, start thinking differently, see things in new perspective.<\/p>\n

            1. Plan vacations:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Making plans about your summer or winter vacations before the year starts will relax your mind. Knowing the specific date and time of your vacation will\u00a0allow you to focus and put your attention in your work.<\/em><\/p>\n

              1. Positivity is the key:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Stay positive all year long. Learn, Read, Watch videos on positivity and reflect positive attitude towards things.\u00a0Make an outline of your actions to help others in your own way.<\/em><\/p>\n

                1. Contributing to the world.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Contribute to the world; the best thing to do is try to \u201cwrite a book<\/strong>\u201d next year on any topic. Second to that, try to give time to your loved ones. Give a hand to any community near your home or any good deed that lets you contribute to the world,\u00a0small or big just do it.<\/em><\/p>\n

                  Lastly just plan ahead everything as \u201cplanning is the real key to success<\/em>\u201d, remember to make the most of your life every day and you will do just fine.<\/p>\n
