The statement provoked a strong denial from Mulino, who described it as an &#8220;intolerable&#8221; falsehood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But on Thursday, the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, reversed the State Department&#8217;s statement on Thursday, saying that the United States &#8220;expes&#8221; that Panama will eliminate tariffs although he recognized that &#8220;Panama has a process of laws and procedures that must be followed with regard to the Panamanian port.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex
