According to the note published by Statista, according to the Public Holidays Global website, countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Puerto Rico would be the only ones that surpass <strong>Panama <\/strong>in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Statista asks the question: how many holidays do workers enjoy in <strong>Latin America<\/strong>? And it resolves according to the different Latin American calendars, ensuring that the nations of the region have a minimum of nine and a maximum of 20 holidays in which they do not work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, at the lower end is Nicaragua, with nine holidays in 2024, while Argentina stands out for having the largest number of holidays in the region: 20. Chile (19), Colombia (18), Puerto Rico (18), while <strong>Panama <\/strong>and Uruguay (15) also hold some of the largest quantities, although the most common in Latin America is to have between 11 and 13 holidays per year, a range in which countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Peru are located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Statista highlights that another recent report from the Bumeran employment portal explores the perception of the feasibility of reducing working hours in five <strong>Latin <\/strong>American countries. While the debate about the reduction of working hours continues, people employed in Colombia work more than 44 hours per week, an average that places the country among the highest in Latin America, followed by Mexico and Honduras, according to data from the International Labour Organization (ILO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size has-small-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\"
