\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0Panama\u00a0a bill has been put to public consultation that establishes a legal framework for developing the activity of\u00a0importing\u00a0natural gas, its storage, local distribution and re-export.<\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">The bill declares the promotion and development of the provision of a public natural gas service in the country to be of public and national interest.<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\">The import, export and re-export of natural gas are declared as activities of general interest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">In addition, the project declares that the storage and regasification in a fuel-free zone, transportation of natural gas by pipeline, distribution of natural gas by pipeline network, and transportation and \/ or virtual distribution of natural gas to be a public service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">See also: &#8220;<a (ASEP).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">From a presentation by the ASEP:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">General structure of the bill:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Establishes the general provisions in which the applicability of the law and the necessary definitions of law are enshrined.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 It contains the basic regulatory principles of the\u00a0<a class=\"hlink\" title=\"Natural gas\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centralamericadata.com\/en\/search?q1=content_en_le:%22Natural+gas%22&amp;q2=mattersInCountry_es_le:%22Panama%22\">natural gas<\/a>\u00a0chain: the conditions of entry to
