exit of Odebrecth has caused pain here in Panama, life will go on and things will get done, albeit later than anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>Reports state that the swiss UBS and Mexico&#8217;s Inbursa are the banks that could lead the new financing structure for finishing construction of Line 2, which is currently 33% complete.<\/p>\n<p class=\"description\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Following the departure of the group of banks led by Citibank, the <a class=\"hlink\" title=\"construction\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centralamericadata.com\/en\/search?q1=content_en_le:%22construction%22&amp;q2=mattersInCountry_es_le:%22Panama%22\">construction<\/a> consortium FCC and Brazil&#8217;s Odebrecht have informed the Secretariat of the <a class=\"hlink\" title=\"Panama\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centralamericadata.com\/en\/search?q1=content_en_le:%22Panama%22&amp;q2=mattersInCountry_es_le:%22Panama%22\">Panama<\/a> Metro that negotiations have now been finalised with two banks to secure <a class=\"hlink\" title=\"financing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centralamericadata.com\/en\/search?q1=content_en_le:%22financing%22&amp;q2=mattersInCountry_es_le:%22Panama%22\">financing<\/a> to complete the work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">Prensa.com reports that<em>\u00a0&#8220;&#8230;<\/em><\/span><span dir=\"ltr\"><em>The news appears in a note sent by the executive director of the consortium Linea 2, Marcos Tepedino, to the director and chairman of the board of Metro de Panama, S.A., <a class=\"hlink\" title=\"Roberto Roy\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centralamericadata.com\/en\/search?q1=content_en_le:%22Roberto+Roy%22&amp;q2=mattersInCountry_es_le:%22Panama%22\">Roberto Roy<\/a>.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">However\u00a0<em>&#8220;&#8230;<\/em><\/span><em><span dir=\"ltr\">In the note the name of the banks that are responsible for this financing are not indicated.<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\">After being consulted, Roy confirmed he had received the letter, but said\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">he had not been informed who is the bank or banks.<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\">&#8216;The fact is that the funding is a\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">an issue 100% to do with the consortium and so far the work is going well, with progress made of\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">33%&#8217;.<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\">This newspaper has learned that it could be the Swiss bank UBS and Mexico &#8216;s Inbursa,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">owned by the Mexican
