Wow, this would make an incredible fishing boat where we could be on the fish in 15 minutes!!

The Panamanian National Naval Air Service (SENAN) has commissioned four new Damen Interceptor 1102 fast craft that were delivered by Panama’s president Juan Carlos Varela on 6 February.

Varela noted that the craft will help Panama strengthen its capabilities to address drug trafficking and other crimes at sea. He said another four such craft will be added to SENAN’s fleet in the future, two of which are being procured with help from a Taiwanese government donation made earlier this year.

The four Interceptors delivered already were purchased with funds obtained as part of an agreement between Panama and Italy over the return of a number of radars purchased by the previous Panamanian administration to Finmeccanica (now Leonardo).
